I've got 3 cars and I take all of them there when work is needed. These guys are thorough and honest! I've been a customer since 2006.
Fantastic and Honest people that go above and beyond to help you... Can't recommend them enough...
The best customer service, transparency and honesty I have ever experienced when working with an auto repair shop. They will be upfront, and go the extra mile. My vehicles will never be serviced elsewhere.
I have been with Superior for 3 years with my 2001 Jeep. They do all my work and I am 100% satisfied with they work and I like the way I'm treated, not like a customer but a good friend. They show me what is wrong so I don't have to take their word for it. If I need a ride home or be picked up to get my car they are there for me. I think I'll be with them for many more years.
Absolutely the Best! Superior and the team is like family, trustworthy, a clean shop and a pleasure to work with. As a single lady, choosing a good mechanic can be daunting. I don't even want to take my truck anywhere else. The guys at Superior drove my vehicle with me and listened for problems. They described the problem to me so that I could really understand, and their service was fast! They will help with regular maintenance so I won't have to worry about missing important upkeep. They really are SUPERIOR!
Very knowledgeable and honest guys. Was able to get an estimate before the work was even done. Very friendly. Pricing is not the cheapest around town but reasonable (There is also the old adage you get what you pay for). Would recommend and will do business with them again!
These guys are awesome! I was treated like family from the minute I walked in the door. They listened to my concerns, gave me a detailed description of what was needed, found other maintenance concerns, gave me a detailed estimate and even told me what could be differed until next time. Integrity comes to mind when I think about my experience. You can trust these folks with your ride. Highly recommended!
These guys rock. Recently I started my car (while parked in the garage) and it was leaking fuel. Then, died on me. After calling these guys, within two hours they arranged to have the car towed and by that afternoon provided me with an update. The next morning they called with an estimate for the repairs. Ironically, this happened the DAY BEFORE I left for vacation. Not only did they provide amazing service from the very beginning, but they took care of the repairs and the car was ready for pickup upon my return. This gave me peace of mind while I was away. They even came to my house to pick me up to get my car when I returned! Reasonable prices for work performed (replaced fuel filter, PCV valve, etc.) and the car's been running smoothly ever since. So happy with Superior and highly recommend them.
I just want to say that Superior Auto Services are awesome! They have a great professional team. They always greet you with a smile and work around your schedule. Usually it is the same day service. One time I was there I was having a problem with my Subaru acting like it wanted to shut off but not all the time. They drove the car 13 miles before it would act up. How many auto services would do that.? Probably zero to one. I highly recommend them to anyone!! I will never take my car anywhere else. Also they were highly recommended to me. Thanks for keeping my Subaru running greatly appreciate everything you have done for me!!!!
After living in the Frederick area for several years I was happy to find Superior! I was coming off an experience where getting my oil changed at a high volume oil change business didn't tell me I needed an alignment and had to purchase a new set of tires prematurely. Superior has great customer service. I really appreciate the time they spend explaining repairs and repair options. I appreciate and use their shuttle service. I appreciate that they are a full service shop and can take care of any repairs my cars need. The only small nit I have is that their price on parts can be a bit high. I also appreciate that their price for an oil change/tire rotation is reasonable- that's big for me!
If I can take my car there..... you can to, because I'm picky.
Outstanding in every way, couldn't be more pleased, they live up to their name. Will be a loyal customer from now on; highly recommended.
Dealer service can be frustrating. So when that happens try Superior Auto Service just off of English Muffin Way. They're friendly, courteous and thorough. Reasonable pricing too. Got that at your dealer? Just a thought!
Excellent shop, highly recommend. I went into the shop on MLK day around 10:30am to inquire about having an aftermarket exhaust I had purchased installed. They said as long as everything lines up and no issues, 1 hour labor, they scheduled me for the next day. Next day I dropped it off in the morning and picked it up at the end of the day, same price I was told 1 hour of labor. These guys did a great job and were able to fit in my exhaust without needing to wait a long time for an appointment. They also have a shuttle service that dropped me off at work and picked me up when the car was ready. I know where I will go when I have other automotive needs, go there with confidence.
According to recent studies, 5 percent of all motor vehicle fatalities are clearly caused by automobile maintenance neglect.
The cooling system should be completely flushed and refilled about every 24 months. The level, condition, and concentration of coolant should be checked. (A 50/50 mix of anti-freeze and water is usually recommended.)
Never remove the radiator cap until the engine has thoroughly cooled. The tightness and condition of drive belts, clamps and hoses should be checked by a pro.
Change your oil and oil filter as specified in your manual, or more often (every 3,000 miles) if you make frequent short jaunts, extended trips with lots of luggage or tow a trailer.
Replace other filters (air, fuel, PCV, etc.) as recommended, or more often in dusty conditions. Get engine drivability problems (hard stops, rough idling, stalling, diminished power, etc.) corrected at a good shop.
A dirty windshield causes eye fatigue and can pose a safety hazard. Replace worn blades and get plenty of windshield washer solvent.
Have your tires rotated about every 5,000 miles. Check tire pressures once a month; let the tires cool down first. Don't forget your spare and be sure your jack is in good condition.
Check your owner's manual to find out what fuel octane rating your car's engine needs then buy it.
Keep your tires inflated to the proper levels. Under-inflated tires make it harder for your car to move down the road, which means your engine uses more fuel to maintain speed.
Lighten the load. Heavier vehicles use more fuel, so clean out unnecessary weight in the passenger compartment or trunk before you hit the road.
Use the A/C sparingly. The air conditioner puts extra load on the engine forcing more fuel to be used.
Keep your windows closed. Wide-open windows, especially at highway speeds, increase aerodynamic drag and the result is up to a 10% decrease in fuel economy.
Avoid long idling. If you anticipate being stopped for more than one minute, shut off the car. Contrary to popular belief, restarting the car uses less fuel than letting it idle.
Stay within posted speed limits. The faster you drive, the more fuel you use. For example, driving at 65 miles per hour (mph) rather than 55 mph, increases fuel consumption by 20 percent.
Use cruise control. Using cruise control on highway trips can help you maintain a constant speed and, in most cases, reduce your fuel consumption.
Keep your engine tuned. A fouled spark plug or plugged/restricted fuel injector can reduce fuel efficiency as much as 30 percent.
Inspect the engine's belts regularly. Look for cracks or missing sections or segments. Worn belts will affect the engine performance.
Have the fuel filter changed every 10,000 miles to prevent rust, dirt and other impurities from entering the fuel system.
Change the transmission fluid and filter every 15,000 to 18,000 miles. This will protect the precision-crafted components of the transmission/transaxle.
Inspect the suspension system regularly. This will extend the life of the vehicle's tires.
